With over 30 years of safety and security experience between them, founders Shiraz Moosa (OrionHud) and Richard White (Premier VIP International) lead the formidable collaboration of OHPremier, together with veteran security professionals Mohammed Haffejee and Mongezi India.

As the joint unit-commander of former President Nelson Mandela’s VIP unit, Shiraz has built an illustrious career spanning over 20 years as a security professional and businessman

Shiraz Moosa has also delivered an array of successfully implemented major event projects for various stadia and conference venues across South Africa.  He has provided advisory services at the Copa Bahia Conference in Brazil in preparation for the 2014 FIFA Brazil World Cup and to the Independent Electoral Commission in South Africa.   

Richard White

Richard White

Richard White started his career training with the VIP Protection Unit of the Derbyshire Constabulary (British Police).

Richard specialised with the driving team, and during his years of service drove for Royalty, Heads of State, Senior Military Officers and Government Officials.Upon leaving the service, Richard established Premier VIP International. Premier is a service provider based in Cape Town South Africa and prides itself on providing our driver client base a highly professional security solution that encapsulates International practices and standards.

Summary of Experience

  • In 2007, Richard became the transport and security project manager representing a South African Destination Marketing Company, working directly with FIFA Hospitality which continued through to conclusion in 2010.
  • Richard was also assigned the role of Regional Security Manager for Sony during the 2010 SA FIFA World Cup where Premier was the security service provider and facilitator.

Mohammed Haffejee

Mohammed Haffejee

Mohammed Haffejee has wide ranging history in ICT and project management experience.

Playing a key role in Risk Management, Mohammed Haffejee was responsible for the security operations nationally as well as all access and accreditation planning and execution associated with the 2010 FIFA World Cup nationally.

Summary of Experience

  • Co-author of the General Security Plan as adopted by the Cabinet of South Africa as the security blue print for major events. 

  • Member of NATJOINTS (National Joint Operations and Intelligence Committee) responsible for all major event security planning and operation in South Africa. 

He has also consulted a number of companies and government departments and has a proven track record in ICT, Safety and Security, Project Management and Logistic fields.  Mohammed maintains high quality standards and is adept in a directional and operational role.
